Children under 8 years will not be admitted to the pools without an adult.
One adult aged 18 or over can supervise:

In The Teaching Pool - Two under 8’s in designated safe water
Direct supervision is required for under 4’s or non swimmers (cannot swim 25m).
It is recommended that both children wear appropriate kite marked floatation aids.

The Main Pool - Two under 8’s in water less than 1.35m
If children are under 4 or non swimmers they:
Must be directly supervised (within arms length)
Must be wearing appropriate kite marked floatation aids.

Persons deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted to the swimming pools.

Non swimmers should not swim in deep water (over 1.35m).

Bathers must use the cubicles provided to change. All items must be stored in the lockers.

Swimmers will only be permitted to the pools wearing approved swimwear (unless prior authorisation has been permitted by the Duty Officer).

All bathers must use pre-cleanse facilities before entering the pools.

No equipment (including lost property) will be loaned to customers unless part of a specifically programmed session e.g parent and toddlers session.

The use of face masks, flippers, paddles and snorkels is not permitted, unless in a structured session.

Valley Leisure Ltd reserves the right to review and change the above policy as operational requirements change. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone failing to adhere to the above or persistent failure to comply with our pool rules.

HEALTH ADMISSION POLICY

Customers that have experienced sickness or diarrhoea within the last fourteen days are not permitted to enter the pools.

Persons with known medical conditions that may affect their safety should seek medical advice prior to their visit. Customers with epilepsy should be accompanied by a capable buddy.

Babies must have received their two immunisation injections prior to swimming.
