The Gym 5 Steps to Success

Welcome to The Gyms at Andover Leisure Centre. We offer 3 great gyms, a large mixed gym with over 140 cardiovascular and resistance machine stations as well as free weights and multi-functional training areas. You will also find a dedicated ladies only gym and dedicated strength training gym. What ever your goals, we are fully equipped with state of the art facilities. Together with our professional, committed staff you will be able to achieve the results that you are after.

At Andover Leisure Centre we offer a personalised approach to health and fitness, and with our '5 Steps to Success' programme you are sure to achieve the results you are after. Our friendly instructors are at hand to design you a personalised fitness programme, and will be with you every step of the way. We are confident that by following our advice and guidance, you will experience positive changes that will last a lifetime.


Step 1
Meet your instructor who will guide you through all of your steps.
Together you will sit down and review your short & long term goals, along with a programme discussion.
The aim of this introductory session is to establish bench marks and to provide you with a gentle introduction to fitness.

Step 2
Step 2 is a support session from your instructor and an introduction to exercise. Your instructor will show you how to operate equipment safely and for maximum benefit. These exercises will strengthen the heart and lungs, releasing feel good endorphins!

A further support session focused on tailoring your
programme, suggestions and advice to ensure you are working problem areas. Make the most of the mix and variety. Your are now starting to look and feel great!

You’ve now established your routine, lets fine tune your programme. Maybe take part in a more advanced fitness class or introduce a lunchtime swim!
You're now starting to see some real results!
