Springers Trampolining

 
Trampolining is divided into five groups as follows:
   
PRE-SCHOOL 3 – 4 ½ YEAR OLDS  
Trampolining Joint parent and child session, using trampoline and soft play equipment. It improves the children's co-ordination, locomotive skills, balancing and allows them to learn whilst having fun.  
     
4 – 8 YEAR OLDS  
Trampolining Confidence building, development of spacial awareness, including teaching safety guidelines combined with learning the basic trampolining skills. In addition co-ordination, strength and stamina exercises included to enhance and maintain a child’s interest.  
     
6 – 12 YEAR OLDS  
Trampolining Continual development of trampolining skills along with reminders regarding safety. Progression on work to improve co-ordination, strength and stamina and to provide variety within the lesson  
     
11 – 19 YEAR OLDS  
Trampolining Progression to the more difficult skills, including somersaults. Emphasis on personal safety when performing these skills and work to develop suitable strength and awareness to achieve these skills safely.  
     
ADULTS  
Trampolining a dedicated session for adults either beginner or experienced where you are able to progress and learn skills at your own level. Whilst improving personal fitness and body tone in a fun, friendly and social environment. This group uses a development chart as a guide to assess achievement.  
     
AWARD SCHEMES  
All groups work towards British Gymnastics Trampolining Awards and everyone is progressed through the awards at their own pace.  Progression can be made through the groups dependent upon spaces.

What to Wear
Soft leggings or tracksuit trousers with a t-shirt and socks, it is advisable to have a long sleeve top whilst learning some skills. Hair tied and clipped back. No jewellery, belts, buckles or buttons on clothing as this could cause injuries or damage to the apparatus or clothing. School uniform, dresses and jeans are NOT appropriate
